Would you like to experience the thrill of offshore racing aboard one of our performance yachts — the Beneteau First 40 Jazz (equipped with new sails) or the First 40.7 Petruchio (fitted with a full carbon racing sail wardrobe)?

During this race, you’ll have the opportunity to build real, hands-on experience across all key roles on board a 40-foot performance yacht — from helming and navigation to sail trimming and foredeck work.

This is a proper offshore racing experience, where you step outside your comfort zone and get a genuine feel for life at sea — with simple race yacht accommodation and practical onboard living as part of the challenge. Whether you’re relatively new to sailing or already experienced, this is a chance to push your limits, develop your racing skills, and become part of a focused, high-performing crew.
The Race – Rolex Fastnet race
In July 2027, the starting gun will signal what is set to be one of the most significant and historic editions of the world’s largest offshore yacht race, with the fleet setting sail from Cowes on the Isle of Wight. For the third consecutive edition, the race will finish in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin after a demanding 695-nautical-mile course via the iconic Fastnet Rock off the southwest coast of Ireland.

Known for its challenging conditions, complex tidal strategies and true offshore character, this race attracts both professional and amateur crews from around the world. As a special edition, with celebrations planned on both sides of the Channel before the start and at the finish, it is expected to draw a record-sized fleet and deliver an exceptional atmosphere both on and off the water.
