We have two beautiful Beneteau First 40 boats, each with a length overall of just under 40 feet or 12 metres. We've made a full rettifing of the boats in 2021. We had a new racing long keel and new set of sails.

Our boats are coded for commercial use. It means the boat you charter have been checked carefully for seaworthiness and that it has all the necessary safety equipment on board (such as life-jackets, life raft, distress flares, fire extinguishers and first aid kits), and that they are all in good order.

Yes, of course – you just can’t ‘drive’ it! What you’ll need to do is arrange a skippered charter, where we provide both the boat and the skipper. Then just lean back and enjoy the experience – but watch out for the sailing bug getting hold of you!

As long as you’re suitably qualified and experienced, ask us for a bareboat charter.

The difference between skippered charters and bareboat yacht charters is that a professional skipper sails the yacht for you rather than you sailing the boat yourself.

Skippered yacht charters are specifically designed for those who have no sailing experience. With a skippered charter, your professional skipper sails the yacht so you can just focus on relaxing, immersing yourself in your chosen destination and having fun with your guests.

The skipper will have all the local knowledge to make your sailing truly special. They will take care of sailing, mooring, safety, weather forecasts and navigating your route while on a skippered charter.

To book a bareboat yacht charter from us we have to be satisfied that you will be able to safely skipper the yacht throughout your sailing holiday and return her safely to us. Our general requirement for bareboat hire is that the skipper should be experienced to a level equivalent to RYA Coastal Skipper and that at least one crew member should have experience equivalent to RYA Competent Crew. If you do not have formal sailing qualifications that meet these conditions then we will request a “sailing CV” from you listing your sailing experience and our Fleet Manager will have a chat with you to satisfy himself that you are competent to hire your choice of sailing yacht.

During our day sailig trip, you can choose to get as involved as you’d like. If you want to learn and get some extra experience, our skipper will share of his knowledge. But we undestand that some people are coming just to enjoy the sun and water, in this case you can just sit and relax.

We have an option of Sailing Experience Day when you can book and pay just for your self. And skip all the headaches of finding a crew, coordinating their plans and splitting the budget.

Most definitely! Your safety is paramount, after all, as is the safety of our yachts. Please read our terms & conditions carefully in advance. We’ll also go through them with you, also collecting your information and signatures, at the time of booking.

Yes – you’ll need to pay a deposit of 50% to confirm your booking, and if you’re chartering a boat you’ll need to pay a refundable security deposit of £800 / £2000 (racing deposit).

Our yachts’ home base is Haslar Marina in Gosport (find out more about our location). That’s just 4 mins by small ferry from Portsmouth Harbour train station.

We have no control over the weather, unfortunately, so adverse conditions can lead to postponement (see below). We also reserve the right to cancel your charter for a range of other reasons, although these are pretty unlikely. You will understand that prior damage to your boat will need taking care of, in which case we’ll reschedule your charter. We also can’t allow you take a boat out if we discover that you don’t have the sailing qualifications you said you had, or if you’re under the influence of drugs or alcohol; in such circumstances, there are no refunds – and rescheduling is highly unlikely.

If bad weather arises beforehand, or during the charter, necessitating a cancellation, we’ll attempt to let you know as soon as possible – but inevitably this could be on arrival, or just before. While we can’t make a refund, we can reschedule your charter for another date. If bad weather arises during your charter, we will stay in touch with you and require you not to sail during periods of unsuitable weather.

All our boats are fully insured. But you can take an extra trip cancellation insurance or deposit insurance by yourself.

You can arrange this kind of insurance by yourselves.

Our team is highly knowledgeable of the pros and cons of the various areas and are always available to discuss and suggest the areas which might suit best. Depending on the make-up and experience of your crew, the time of year you are looking to travel, and the type of trip you want the suitability of a sailing area can vary massively. For example, a young family with limited experience is likely to have different requirements than offshore sailors.

Our yachts are fitted with AIS, enabling you to broadcast your location to other yachts and to track other AIS-enabled boats. AIS must not be turned off; our yachts are not fitted with radar.

Yes. We have a free guest parking in Haslar Marina. But we need to have car registration number before you come.

You’ll be welcomed and given a tour of the yacht. We’ll point out all the key features and provide safety information. We’ll ask you to sign for the condition and contents of the yacht, much like when you hire a car. Although we appreciate you’ll want to get out onto the water without delay, there’s no rush from our end so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask any questions. We always love to chat to our customers and find out about a bit about them.

Before you leave marina you will have an overview of the cruising area, safety inspection on board and yacht familiarisation briefing from our team, including:

Yes. Once you have settled on board a trained member of staff will take you through the boat explaining how to use all of the yacht’s systems and machinery.

Please take this time to ask any questions about the function of the vessel - the more you know, the easier your holiday will be. Also, this is the best time to find any inventory that has been overlooked or lost by the previous client. This is a really important process so please be involved.

Yes, because we really do want you to feel welcome and comfortable on board! You’ll have the essentials for making hot drinks, and there are always a few surprise treats. For a fee, we can also buy and stow your shopping or have a hot meal waiting for you.

No. But there are few big supermarkets in the area (Tesco, ASDA, Morrison) where you can do your shopping. Also you can have a delivery to marina in case of online order.

As a young company, we’re still working towards becoming an RYA sailing school. But we can share our experience and practical tips.

At the end of your charter, you will be asked to sign a statement saying you experienced no collisions or groundings. It is particularly important that you answer this honestly. Most harbours have webcams, and if you touch or graze another boat, honesty will be the best policy. If you ground the boat, you MUST tell us. It’s particularly important that we perform certain safety checks after a grounding and before our next customer uses the boat.

Depending on the situation, you need to contact the coast guard or our support team:

If you want to ask questions about the yacht, our support team will help you.
If you have a emmergency during your trip you need to contact coast guard first and then call us.
If you have collisions in other marina. You need to make a photo first, contact with that marina office for witness and call us.

The deposit is the amount specified in the rental terms and conditions, which is blocked on Your card for payment in case of damage to the boat during the sailing. We don't withdraw money from Your card immediately, but only blocks it for a certain time. If there is any situation that has caused damage to the yacht, you must contact us immediately. Together, you can agree on a mutually beneficial way to resolve this problem. If we ask You to reimburse us, we will withdraw the blocked money from your card in the amount that You approved in advance and/or together with an independent expert.

You will need to pay a 50% deposit to confirm the booking and the Balance Payment should be paid to Bridge Global Trade and Development Ltd no later than 7 days prior to the commencement of the charter service.

Payment can be accepted by cash, credit card (2% surcharge), debit card or bank transfer.

We will send you confirmation of payment by email. If you need a proforma invoice for company name, please let us know.

All necessary information about the refund in case of order cancellation is written in the contract, the terms of use (see the menu at the bottom of our site), as well as duplicate comments below. We recommend reading it to avoid misunderstandings between the parties. Each cancellation is considered individually. But as a rule it looks like this:
- In the event of the Charterer cancelling the booking more than 4 weeks prior to the charter start date, Bridge Global Trade and Development Ltd will be entitled to keep the Deposit and refund any balance to the Charterer.
- In the event of the Charterer cancelling the booking within 4 weeks prior to the charter start date the charter fees are not refundable. If Bridge Global Trade and Development Ltd can recharter the Yacht for all or part of the charter period, a proportion of the charter fee may be refunded at the discretion of Bridge Global Trade and Development Ltd.

In our booking form page you can see the calendar of availability. Filling the booking form you can make a reservation. But you still need to receive booking confirmation from us by email.

There are no age restrictions for bareboat charter.
For Sailing Experience Day we have follow conditions:
- We do not accept children under the age of 4.
- from 4 to 11 years old, children can be taken if the full boat is booked. So, everyone on the boat knows each other and agrees with the presence of kids on board.
- Definitely a good weather forecast. Usually in 2-3 days it is already more or less clear what the weather will be like.
- For each child there must be a separate responsible adult who looks after the child during the trip.

Under the terms of the contract, you must return the ship with a full tank of fuel. Otherwise, you will need to pay the cash equivalent and the time it will take to send the ship to the fuel station.

In this case, there are penalties that are prescribed in the contract. We reserve the right to charge £25 per hour for yachts that are returned late.

Think things you don’t mind getting wet, layers, sun cream and shoes with good grip.We can provide proper sailing waterproofs – but these are of limited availability so if you have them it’s best to bring them.
Since the yacht is limited in free space, we do not recommend that you take large suitcases with you, but use a soft bag. As for clothing, the most convenient option is the one in which You are comfortable. Girls should stop wearing high heels on board. If you plan to spend a lot of time on land, be sure to take comfortable shoes for walking. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, you may need a windbreaker and warm clothing.

If you plan to bring a phone, tablet, laptop, hair dryer, electric razor and other possible devices that require recharging, we recommend use it during spot in the marina, when boat is connected to land electricity. When the engine is running, it will be able to produce voltage in sockets in 220V. For regular charging, it is more convenient to use a separate generator, which will allow you to charge your devices even when the engine is not running. As a rule, all yachts are equipped with such devices.

Each yacht is equipped with a shower with hot water. Its reserves must be replenished periodically at the port. The skipper must take care of this. Do not use non-environmental products, so as not to spoil the environment.

No. we don't provide any bedding or towels. But we have a sliping bags to hire for extra fee.

Yes. If you want us to make a final cleaning we can do it for extra fee.
