The passage is about 700 nautical miles. Start from Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport. We cross Biscay and finish in Vigo, Spain. Approximately 5-6 days. There are direct flights from Vigo to London.

Leg 2 - Vigo, Spain - Lanzarote, Canary Island
The passage is about 800 nautical miles. Start from Vigo, Spain. We are going near coast of Portual and finish in Lanzarote, Canary Island. Approximately 6-7 days. There are direct flights from Lanzerote to London.

It is entirely your own responsibility to obtain a visa or entry permit to Spain. Typically you will need a UK or EU passport, EU residence permit or Schengen visa.
If you need to apply a Schengen visa, we can prepare and send you a confirmation of participation.

Meals ashore and travel expenses to and from ports are not included.
PLEASE NOTE: As a long-distance trip, the crew will be operating a watch system. This normally means that a crew is split up and alternates being on / off watch. Often it's 4hr shifts with shorter shifts from 16.00-18.00 and 18.00-20.00 to ensure that you are not always on watch at the same time of day/night. Offshore yacht sailing can be difficult, and every crew member must fully acknowledge their physical condition and experience and take responsibility for all their actions on the boat.
